“I hope there isn’t a David Jubb legacy, because the development of the building has been this very iterative, gradual thing”. In the second episode of series three of her podcast, The Legacy Tapes, Rebecca Atkinson-Lord talks to David Jubb, outgoing artistic director of the Battersea Arts Centre. He’s been at the helm of the venue since 2004, during a period of transformation that’s included its recent, triumphant recovery from the fire that raged through its Grand Hall. Here, he talks about his aim to create an arts space that feels fluid, and where everyone can contribute.
*Legacy Tapes was chosen as one of The Stage newspaper’s top podcasts of 2017!*
